The setup of the Alternet Services Network began in March 2013 and is now in full progress. At present, there are already 100 tourism-related businesses on Kalymnos which are participating and have been attending a special program of consulting, training, planning, and makeover so that they may improve their services and Kalymnos’ tourism profile (accommodations, restaurants, car & motorbike rentals).
Quite soon, Alternet Services Network will widen its scope by adding health, sports, beauty, and wellness services, cottage industries, model cultivations, artisan workshops, traditional products sales points, etc.
Participation in the alternet businesses network for online-alternative tourism on Kalymnos and much more is available only to those businesses which have acquired their tourism accreditation license and fulfill all the safety and quality prerequisites stipulated by the State and the network’s regulations.
